24/7 Worship and Prayer

Over a year and a half ago God stirred up in me a desire for a 24/7 place of worship and prayer to be here in Hawaii. I had seen it in action, experienced it, and knew it was already in places around the world. (See International House of Prayer link on right) God pulled me into a small group of women here in hawaii who also desired the same thing.. (yea, I'm not the only one :), and by meeting simply to pray everyweek, we eventually had beginnings, rumblings and a real 24/1 session of worship and prayer.

The Lord also remined us that He has always had 24/7 worship and prayer before His throne, and we were joining them. Our desire and efforts pleased Him and yet the weight was not on us to "do" this thing.

We came to see this movement, a part of God's heart, being released and joined in various parts of the greater Body and also the Church here in Hawaii. It is really exciting...a place always open to have no other agenda but to encounter God and move His heart....move ours to align with His... no denominations, no personal agendas, but coming together in Unity to pursue the Lord.

So IHOP Honolulu is a reality now and has a weekly place to meet and website www.ihophonolulu.com with the vision of 24/7 happening. Members of 4 plus different churches come together to form Second Creation, and have this at heart to be the engine for IHOP Honolulu. I have been enjoying communing with them in prophetic prayer and spontaneous worship every Thurs. night to seek God. It's fun! Yes, prayer can be FUN! Honest!

"Even them...I will MAKE THEM JOYFUL in My house of prayer...for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations." Isa. 56:7

It's a citywide/statewide/Global thing so all, ALL, are invited. So check it out, come by, no requirements, experience, etc. needed.
